    Dr. Manning’s areas of interest include providing individual psychotherapy to adults (ages 18 and older) specifically those seeking healing from trauma. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England and completed APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral training at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Bedford, MA. Throughout Dr. Manning’s training, she focused on providing evidence based, culturally sensitive interventions to individuals experiencing a wide variety of mental health diagnoses. She is a certified provider in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression (CBT-D) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorder (CBT-SUD). In addition, Dr. Manning has had experiences working in community based mental health and college counseling.

    Dr. Manning’s interpersonal style is empathic and often direct. She takes time to understand what recovery means for her patients and to collaboratively develop a plan to assist them in reaching their goals. She will get to know her patients outside of their struggles to develop a strong foundation to the therapeutic relationship. Dr. Manning believes this foundation is crucial before diving into the deeper, more challenging work that lies ahead.
